Sherlock Holmes

The man's got style, style and more style. And the film is simply awesome - fast paced, funny, entertaining. But like the other Guy Ritchie films (ok, I have only seen Lock Stock... and Snatch), you might need subtitles to thoroughly enjoy it.
The strange relation between Holmes and Watson is as funny as it gets, and seriously, the film would have been complete even without the women :D
Ohh, and the best part of the film is its end - which promises a part 2 :)

JFK

"Fundamentally, people are suckers for the truth. And the truth is on your side, Bubba." - Mr. X
The film presents one of the conspiracy theories behind the assassination of John F. Kennedy. Though many of the characters/incidents described in the film are far from reality, it is one heck of a ride.
An extremely well made movie with some awesome performances by Kevin Costner and the rest of the cast.
If it weren't for all the controversy that surrounded the film, I am sure it would have bagged some more awards.

[Spoiler ahead]
The court room scene is extremely powerful, and despite all the exaggerations in the film, leaves you wondering if what Jim Garrison was proposing, could indeed be true. And if indeed it is true, I find it extremely difficult to believe that such a large-scale conspiracy could have been kept under the wraps for this long!
I am still not over the "what if"'s and "but if"'s related to this movie... Like others, I too will have to wait till 2017 to find out (when the secret documents will be released for public to read).
